Grand Awakening,
Long time no talk. Been a while. Life kicking my butt. But what have I done in this timespan? Let me get right to that. AWS DevOps Engineer Certification. Oh okay. AWS SysOps Administrator Certification. Oh okay. You started investing in the stock market? Oh okay. New job? OH OKAY.
No but seriously. We are back and better than ever. New energy. New waves. New content coming. Here are some updates of what I’ve been doing over the last couple of months.
AWS DevOps Professional Certification – Acquired.
The Road to DevOps Pro led me exactly where I needed to go. Passed my exam with a score of 824/1000. It has gotten to the point where I feel that Amazon Web Services has become second nature to me. I feel at home in the AWS console. CloudFormation feels like a close friend to me. I plan on taking the AWS Solutions Architect Professional some time this year, but I am in no rush to do so.

New Horizons – DevOps Engineer
Hard work pays off. The fruits of my labor have ripened and taste oh so delicious. I start my new position as a DevOps Engineer for a local company on July 13th. Im very excited to start this position and to be able to incorporate all of the techniques that i’ve learned.Due to the pandemic the position is mostly remote so my quality of life will not be interrupted. I plan on using the gap period in between jobs to take a vacation, create content and prepare myself for the future.
Stock Market Moves
So I’ve discovered the stock market. It’s been a roller coaster of events but I’ve come out on top with both profit and experience. The best part is that it’s only up from here. In these volatile times there is a huge amount of money to be made in the market. You can change your life with just one good decision on one good day. I’ve created both a long term portfolio and started learning about option trading. Option Trading has by far gotten me by biggest financial returns. Option Trading can be extremely risky but by incorporating risk management, patience, and deciphering high probability plays you can yield consistent profit.I plan to start writing some articles, documentation and knowledge bases with regards to investing and option trading.
What’s Next?
I currently have a few projects i’m working on and hoping to get out in the coming weeks. One im very excited about combines both my cloud skill set and the stock market.(More to come at a later date) In the meantime be on the lookout for my daily stock watch list on my Twitter account. Here i’ll be posting the companies i’m looking at for the week. I’ll be updating it as the week goes along. I also plan on posting some TA(Trade Analysis), strategies, and helpful tips that I wish I knew when I was beginning my investment journey.
